Continued...

This place had a little card by the bed on this table. It was a tiny little menu that you figured out what time you wanted breakfast, and what you wanted and you just hung it on your door. The next morning, at that time...BAM! There is your f'ing food waiting on you! I know this it probably a simple thing, but for this hick, I was impressed. Ok, I wont bore you much more. I give this hotel a 5 plus star review and recommend it to anyone looking for a cool weekend getaway. The bathroom was amazing, they have a fancy shmancy restaurant downstairs, a Starbucks (go figure) and anything you would really want. There are tons of cool bars and hangouts and places to eat in the area. It's great, check it out sometime if you get the chance. Go to the Blennerhassett Hotel website to see some views of the place for yourself.

A little piece of history in WV

So a few weeks back, I had the pleasure to stay at the Blennerhassett Historic Hotel in Parkersburg WV. My girlfriend Jennifer needed to go up to that part of the state to do some audition work for SETC and I wanted to go along. Now we also needed to take our dog Stewart so I wanted to find a hotel that was pet friendly. I did some searching and found that most of the hotels accepted dogs, but all around $70. Then I found a jewel, the historic Blennerhassett for only $30 more a night! The decision was simple.
This place was beautiful! I failed to get any pictures of the outside but it is a very old creepy awesome looking building. I did get this picture of the creepy church that was across the street.
It gives you some idea of how old this section of town was. It was very beautiful and really cool.
